The Original Diva Doll, "Michelle Ashwood"

Today's featured "Woman on the Move" is, Michelle Ashwood, Owner of Beyond Beautiful Salon Boutique.

I Love to celebrate the success of other women who are making their mark and doing their thing in spite of life's challenges. Today I want to "Spotlight" my cousin Michelle Ashwood.

Michelle has been a hair stylist for over 20 years; she is the proud owner of her very own chic, eclectic salon "Beyond Beautiful Salon Boutique. We grew up together as close cousins with a sisterly bond. She is a woman of God and an inspiration to others. She is always putting her best foot forward enjoying making others feel confident and beautiful. She recently transitioned from relaxed hair to natural and she rocks it well. She has her own fashion boutique located in her salon. She also retails Design Essentials natural hair product line. Michelle is a Presenter for Younique; a company known for 3D Fiber Lash Mascara. She is well rounded with a business mind-set and a heart to help others. I consider her a jack of all trades.

Michelle will be hosting her 2nd Vendor Fair Event featuring a variety of 30 small businesses from the St. Louis area.  The event will be held on March 29th at the Artist Community Gallery located at 2701 14th Street from 2-7pm. Please contact her at 314-226-7584 for more information or for vendor opportunities.

Let's celebrate this beautiful African-American woman, who is doing her thing.
